
Marco Martelli joined INVISION in 2004. His investment interests include opportunities in education, innovative service business concepts and information technology. Currently, he is responsible for the investments in IDAK (KADI & Margherita), eduPRO, Careanesth as well as the Parkresort Rheinfelden Group and serves on the companies’ boards.
With INVISION he invested, amongst others, in Vantage Education Group (sold in 2020 to a private investor group), Swiss Education Group (sold in 2018 to Summer Capital), Netviewer AG (sold to Citrix) and Cyberguard (sold to Secure Computing which was subsequently sold to McAfee). He was also responsible for the publicly traded closed-end fund Mach Hitech. Prior to joining INVISION, Mr. Martelli was CFO of Venture Partners AG, a Swiss based venture capital firm from 2002 to 2004. From 2000 to 2001, Marco Martelli was Director of Finance of a Swiss listed software and consulting company. He started his career with Deloitte in 1994 in the audit department where he was promoted to Manager in 1998.
Marco Martelli is a Swiss certified accountant and holds a degree in business administration from the Fachhochschule (FHS) St. Gallen.
