Schneider Group, an Invision portfolio company and a leading Swiss freight forwarding service provider, acquires a majority stake in German logistics and freight forwarding company apriori transport and logistics GmbH with locations in Betzigau and Biessenhofen (Allgäu / Bavaria). As part of an early succession solution at apriori, the two companies decided to join forces. Invision supported Schneider Group in this transaction.
Through the connection with apriori, Schneider Group enters Europe’s largest transport and logistics market and further strengthens its existing Italian business. On the side of apriori, employees, customers and partners will benefit equally from the additional services offered by Schneider, especially with regards to air and sea freight services and the strong market position in Switzerland and France.
The previous sole owners of apriori – Günter Netzer and Daniel Binzer – will continue as managing shareholders and advise Schneider going forward.
