Invision launches CHF 145m Continuation Fund for the further development of Schneider Group

Invision, a leading investment company focusing on succession solutions and growth financing for medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries has launched and successfully closed Invision Logistics LP, a CHF 145 million continuation fund for the further development of Schneider Group. Invision Logistics LP will continue the successful and proven partnership with Schneider and has additional capital at its disposal to finance Schneider’s buy & build strategy.

In 2015, Invision acquired an initial stake in Schneider Group as part of a succession solution. Since then, the freight forwarding and logistics specialist has developed highly satisfactory and grown substantially through organic means as well as an active acquisition strategy. As a result, Schneider has more than doubled in size and expanded its international network to 56 locations in Switzerland, Europe, the USA and Asia within the last few years.

Invision Logistics LP was funded by Montana Capital Partners as lead investor and other existing and new institutional investors. Besides Invision, the shareholder base of Schneider’s management team was further expanded as part of the transaction.

Quest Fund Placement acted as placement agent and Lincoln International as advisor for this transaction. Financial documentation was prepared by EY, tax and legal documentation by Vischer. NKF and Clifford Chance were engaged to provide legal advice on the transaction and fund structuring, respectively.
