Founded as a potato flakes factory in 1951, KADI today is an innovative manufacturer of potato-based specialities and snacks. With 180 employees employed at its state-of-the-art production facility in Langenthal, the company supplies 270 different premium products to over 10’000 restaurants as well as various retailers across Switzerland. Due to its decade long focus on innovation and premium quality, KADI has become the market leader in the Swiss professional segment («HORECA»). Additionally, KADI has been hosting Switzerland’s most prestigious cooking contest, the “Golden Chef” for over twenty years.
HOW INVISION PLAYS ITS PART
Invision, the management team as well as co-investors have acquired a majority stake in KADI as part of a tertiary buyout. Invision thereby not only secured KADI’s ongoing independence, but also acts as an entrepreneurial partner who fully supports the production in Langenthal, commands a thorough understanding of the Swiss market and comes with existing experience in the the production and marketing of fast moving consumer goods.
