LEDLENSER, one of world’s leading manufacturers of LED flashlights and headlamps used for professional, industrial, and outdoor applications, has acquired Ledco Ltd based in the United Kingdom.
Ledco was founded in 2004 by Jon Kemp and has since acted as the exclusive distributor of LEDLENSER products in Great Britain, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The acquisition of Ledco is a further committed step by LEDLENSER in developing its international sales footprint. Following the very successful establishment of its own sales organizations in the USA and Denmark, the acquisition of Ledco represents a further milestone in the optimization of its direct salesforce. The objective, together with the existing Ledco team, is to continue expanding LEDLENSER’s market position in the United Kingdom and gaining further market share.
LEDLENSER successfully navigated through the Covid-19 pandemic and has started strongly into 2021, continuing along its impressive growth trajectory. The growth is underpinned by the introduction of a broad range of new innovative products as well as focused internationalization. In addition, the expansion of its online sales and its new marketing campaign POWERUP are providing exciting momentum for the future.
