Cygna Labs, a subsidiary of the Cygna Labs Group, has acquired Diamond IP, from BT (formerly British Telecom). Cygna Labs is a highly specialized software manufacturer with a focus on providing enterprises worldwide with the latest innovations in cloud security and compliance technology.
With this strategic acquisition, Cygna Labs is adding the third largest DDI vendor to its product portfolio and transforms Diamond IP into a standalone software vendor – thereby enabling the Cygna Labs Group to strengthen its DDI product and managed service offerings for its customers.
Diamond IP is a critical provider of connectivity, cloud, and security services, which will now be in a position again to drive innovation in the DDI market. The acquisition not only provides significant intellectual property, but also allows the group to gain some of the foremost DDI experts in the world as part of its team. The entire Diamond IP workforce will join Cygna Labs as part of this transaction – which underpins why Christian Ehrenthal, president and CEO of Cygna Labs, is so enthusiastic: “Closing this acquisition represents a major milestone for both Cygna Labs and the Diamond IP team.
