INVISION VII, a fund advised by Invision AG, has acquired a majority stake in R&K Ingenieure GmbH (R&K) from BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft (BWK). The management of R&K continues to hold a significant stake, ensuring continuity in the further development of the group of companies.
R&K is an engineering service provider based in Hamburg that, together with its subsidiaries, manages infrastructure projects throughout Germany. The group specializes in construction supervision and site management, project management and controlling, consulting, and quality control, particularly in the areas of bridge and tunnel construction, rail and road construction, power lines, offshore infrastructure, and other complex infrastructure projects. Under the leadership of its management team, R&K has continuously strengthened and expanded its market position in recent years.
“From the outset, we were impressed by the important role that R&K plays in key German infrastructure projects. Together with the management, we want to develop R&K both organically and through acquisitions,” explains Martin Spirig, the partner responsible at INVISION.
