INVISION, a leading private equity firm focused on succession solutions for mid-sized companies in the DACH region, is acquiring Reichelt Elektronik (“Reichelt”) together with its management from listed Dätwyler Holding AG (security no. 3048677).
Reichelt, headquartered in Sande, Germany, is a leading e-commerce business for electronic components distributed to B2B and B2C customers. With its unique combination of a pre-selected range of quality products, reliable delivery and attractive prices, Reichelt’s customers realize their projects competently, successfully and particularly economically. With an assortment of over 125’000 articles, Reichelt serves more than 700’000 customers per year and ships more than 8’000 parcels per day to customers in Germany, Switzerland and other European countries such as France, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.
Reichelt has developed impressively since its foundation in 1969. As a result of the growth strategy initiated and financed by Dätwyler ten years ago with geographic expansion and enlargement of the product range, revenue has risen steadily, most recently to 188.8 million Swiss Francs (around 176 million Euro) in 2020.
The experienced management team, who will become shareholders as part of the transaction, is eager to continue the successful journey now together with INVISION.

Details of the transaction are confidential and will not be disclosed. The closing of the transaction is expected during fall 2021, subject to satisfying closing conditions, in particular antitrust clearance.
