Marco Martelli joined INVISION in 2004. His investment interests include opportunities in education, innovative service business concepts and information technology. Currently, he is responsible for the investments in Kadi, Vantage Education as well as the Parkresort Rheinfelden Group and serves on the companies' boards.
With INVISION he invested, amongst others, in Swiss Education Group (sold in 2018 to Summer Capital), Netviewer AG (sold to Citrix) and Cyberguard (sold to Secure Computing which was subsequently sold to McAfee). He was also responsible for the publicly traded closed-end fund Mach Hitech. Before joining INVISION, Mr. Martelli was CFO of Venture Partners AG, a Swiss based venture capital firm from 2002 to 2004. From 2000 to 2001, Marco Martelli was Director of Finance of a Swiss listed software and consulting company. He started his career with Deloitte in 1994 in the audit department where he was promoted to Manager in 1998.
Marco Martelli is a Swiss certified accountant and holds a degree in business administration from the Fachhochschule (FHS) St. Gallen.
Kadi is a Langenthal-based producer of refrigerated and frozen products. With 180 employees, Kadi generates revenues of CHF 70 Mio. The company supplies 270 different premium products to over 10’000 restaurants across Switzerland.
The Swiss Education Group (SEG) is a world-renowned network of Swiss hotel management schools, which prepares students for the varied demands of the hospitality sector.
The Vantage Education Groupe connects locally established and nationally renowned educational institutes and offers a wide range of training as well as further education courses.
The Parkresort Rheinfelden Group is renewed for its range of relaxation and wellness services as well as its superior medical care, which focuses primarily on the musculoskeletal system.
Netviewer develops, markets and sells desktop sharing, web conferencing and web collaboration software and services.
