Prior to joining Invision, Jan Donnecker held the position of Head of M&A at the Hamburg-based technology group Körber. During this time, he was responsible for the origination and execution of numerous acquisitions of family-owned Mittelstand businesses and corporate carve-outs in the capital goods, industrial services and healthcare sectors. Prior to Körber, he worked in the investment banking industry for over seven years.
“We are very pleased that Jan Donnecker joined our team in Düsseldorf” Peter Kroha commented. “Given Jan’s background with family owned businesses, he brings valuable experience in a market segment which Invision is focused on. The majority of transactions completed by Invision over the last few years have involved succession situations of privately owned companies.”
Invision’s team in Germany focuses on the identification, evaluation and execution of new investments for the Invision V fund. Invision V was raised in 2013 and closed with a volume of EUR 285 million. The fund is currently invested in a number of market leading businesses including Kraft & Bauer, Vantage Education, Schneider Logistics, Swiss Education Group and Parkresort Rheinfelden.
