Hee-Dong Kim, Investment Manager

Hee-Dong Kim joined Invision Private Equity AG in 2009. At Invision, he focuses on evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments. In particular, he is involved in the oversight of Swiss Education Group (SEG) – a portfolio company of Invision IV, L.P.

Before Invision, Hee-Dong Kim was Head of M&A of AMEOS AG, a private-equity-financed hospital management company. Backed by Quadriga Capital, AMEOS implements a buy-and-build strategy in the German hospital sector. Hee-Dong Kim was responsible for managing the entire investment process from deal sourcing to closing. He completed three add-on acquisitions increasing the group’s revenues from approx. EUR 40 million to more than EUR 220 million and evaluated more than 20 deals ranging from small hospitals with EUR 12 million in revenues to academic medical centres and hospital chains with more than EUR 400 million in revenues. Prior to that, he was Associate Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group advising clients on strategic and operational issues.

Hee-Dong Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Mathematics & Statistics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. He is fluent in German, Korean, and English.
