Dr. Bernd Pfister, Partner

Bernd Pfister was a co-founder of Invision AG in 1996. With Invision he was involved in most investments and oversaw all corporate transactions. Currently, he is on the board of directors of Link Marketing Services AG, SD Shop Display AG and SD Shop Promo AG. He focuses on investment opportunities in the information technology, media and entertainment and innovative services business space.

Prior to joining Invision, he was part in the investment banking team of Schroders Plc. in Asia and Europe. In 1998 he co-founded Aureus Private Equity AG, Zug, which was merged with Invision AG in 2000.

Bernd has served on the Board of Directors of twenty growth companies in the field of telecommunication services, wireless software and equipment, software and financial services including esmertec AG, mcn tele.com AG, r3 security engineering AG, Digital SecuRights AG, Design Labs Ltd., enba Ltd., Q1 Carrier AG, Surf EU AG, Enterprise Communications AG and Dolce Media AG.

Bernd holds a joint doctoral degree from the University of St. Gallen and Durham University and was scholar of the European ERASMUS Doctoral Programme in ‘Entrepreneurship and Venture Management’. He received his master degree in finance (lic. oec. HSG) from the University of St. Gallen.

Bernd is president of the Forum for innovative Finance (‘FIF’) a think tank for Swiss alternative asset managers.
