Beat Bühlmann is a Managing Director at Horizon21
Private Equity.
Beat Bühlmann has extensive experience in private
equity and corporate finance. He began his career in 1991
with Swiss Bank Corporation. In 1994, he went back to school
and worked as a Senior Research Assistant and Consultant
at the Swiss Banking Institute of the University of Zurich
while finishing his PhD degree. In 1997, he joined SMS Securities
as a Partner, where he was responsible for alternative investment
activities.
In 2000, he co-founded go4equity AG, a venture-financed,
pan-European private equity platform. There, as a CEO overseeing
12 professionals in three countries, he established strategic
relationships with PwC, IDC and Reuters and completed various
placements.
In 2001, Beat Bühlmann co-founded Tendo Corporate
Finance AG. As Partner there, he originated, led, and executed
more than 20 private equity and M&A transactions, primarily
for small and mid-sized companies in various sectors in
Switzerland, Germany, and the US.
He has a degree as Dr. oec. publ. from the University of
Zurich, Switzerland, where he majored in Finance and Banking.
Beat Bühlmann was born in 1968 and lives in Switzerland.
