RSD has appointed Pierre Van Beneden to the position
of Chief Executive Officer
Geneva – February 29, 2008 – RSD, a leading provider
of archiving and retrieval software for digital documents, announced
today that its board of directors has appointed Pierre Van Beneden
to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Van Beneden, a
recognized leader in the software industry, was most recently
Vice President at Adobe Systems heading the EMEA region. As RSD’s
founder and chairman I am proud that RSD is attracting world class
talent such as Pierre Van Beneden. I had placed a bet on top tier
investors Invision and Vinci Capital to help me bring the company
to the next level and I am excited that we are executing as planned”
says Louis-Pierre Roger.
Mr. Van Beneden, 53, brings 25 years of experience in the IT
industry focused on managing sales and operations for leading
software vendors. He served for four years as Adobe Systems' Vice
President of EMEA during which time his team tripled revenue.
Prior to Adobe, Mr. Van Beneden spent seven years at Lotus Development,
first heading up their EMEA division out of Paris and subsequently
acting as Vice President worldwide field operations from their
headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Previously, Mr. Van
Beneden served seven years at Oracle and four at Digital in management
and consulting roles.
