CyberGuard Shareholders Vote to Approve Acquisition by Secure Computing

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 2006--CyberGuard(R) Corporation (NASDAQ:CGFW), a global provider of security solutions that protect the business-critical information assets of Global 2000 enterprises and government organizations, today announced that its shareholders have approved the Company's acquisition by Secure Computing Corporation of San Jose, California. Approval was given at a special shareholders' meeting held in Deerfield Beach, FL earlier today. Secure Computing had announced its intention to acquire CyberGuard on August 18, 2005.
