Blue Coat to Offer Webwasher URL Filtering on Proxy Appliances

Combined Offering Provides Enhanced Web Controls; ProxySG Appliances Provide 10-Times URL Filtering Performance Increase

The combination of the Webwasher URL Filter with Blue Coat's proxy appliances enables customers to filter unwanted Web content without interrupting legitimate Web traffic. The combined solution provides increased network performance and simplified installation, and will enable enterprises to boost productivity by reducing non-business related Web surfing, curb IT costs associated with downloading bandwidth-intensive files, and minimize legal risks by filtering out inappropriate Web sites.
