Esmertec launches revolutionary OSVM software solution for small embedded devices and systems at the Embedded System Conference in San Francisco

Embedded Systems Conference, San Francisco, USA – March 8, 2005 – Esmertec™ (www.esmertec.com), a leading provider of software solutions for mobile phones and embedded devices, is launching its new revolutionary software platform, OSVM™, at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) in San Francisco, USA.

OSVM is a real-time object-oriented software platform for resource-constrained embedded devices. It is a new paradigm for embedded software development, allowing high-level object-oriented programming thereby increasing developer productivity and reduction in software development costs. Additionally, OSVM is a secure platform that enables serviceability without any disruption to the system operation.

The OSVM solution is designed for M2M (machine-to-machine) devices, consumer electronics, elevators, point-of-sales terminals, billboards, ticketing kiosks, vending machines, and other small embedded devices.
