Esmertec acquires Kada Systems’ business assets
Zurich, Switzerland – December 12, 2003 – Esmertec™
(www.esmertec.com), the leading provider of Java solutions for
mobile multimedia phones and embedded devices, and Kada Systems,
Inc. today announced an agreement whereby Esmertec acquires the
entire business assets of Kada Systems, including technology,
intellectual property and commercial agreements. Kada Systems
(www.kadasystems.com) is an independent provider of certified
Java 2, Micro Edition (J2ME™) software deployment solutions
for mobile solution providers, and delivers commercial quality
J2ME implementations to device manufacturers, developers and operating
system providers. Kada is active in the space of advancing capabilities
for smart handhelds and wireless devices.
