Webwasher Is Web-Filtering Market Leader In Germany – New Meta Group Security Study Confirms Top Position

In the report, Web-filtering is defined as one of the three pillars of Content Security Management, next to e-mail and spam-filtering. According to Meta Group Germany, companies implement Web-filtering solutions primarily to protect their network infrastructure from virus attacks. Additional reasons for deployment include legal compliance as well as the potential to optimize employee productivity and network bandwidth.
